3-Star Dom Pedro Garajau with Heated Indoor Pool and Dine Around Program
Pools & Recreation
Dom Pedro Garajau has three swimming pools: a heated indoor pool with a removable roof, plus two outdoor pools with views of the Atlantic Ocean. The surrounding gardens include a kids' pool, a sports court for volleyball and badminton, and a games room with table tennis. The hotel's collaboration with the Dom Pedro Golf Collection gives guests access to local golf courses.
Rooms & Apartments
The hotel has 168 rooms, including family rooms and spacious apartments that can accommodate groups. Each room has a balcony, satellite TV, and wooden furniture in neutral colours; some balconies face the Atlantic Ocean and others look over the gardens. Kitchenettes in the apartments allow self-catering, and daily housekeeping is provided.
Location & Nature
Dom Pedro Garajau sits on Madeira's south coast between Funchal and Caniço, 9 km from Funchal and 11 km from Madeira International Airport. Garajau Beach, diving centers, and the Garajau Marine Reserve, the first marine nature reserve in Portugal, are close by; Pico dos Barcelos Viewpoint and Madeira Botanical Garden are reachable by car or public transport. A tour desk and car rental service operate on site.
Dining & Entertainment
The Tropical Restaurant serves on-site meals, and the Caracalla Bar serves drinks. The Dine Around program showcases Madeiran gastronomy and complements the hotel's dining options. After dinner, guests can use the games room, table tennis tables, or shared lounge/TV area.
Families & Events
A kids' pool, children's meals, and a kid-friendly buffet make the hotel suitable for families. Family rooms and spacious apartments provide space for groups. The dedicated events team plans weddings, celebrations, and events in the hotel's gardens.
